An ironware produced in Iwate prefecture.
Nanbu tekki is a traditional craft made by artisians starting from the edo period (1603-1869) and has been past on down to genaration.
The name Nanbu comes from the name of the area it was first produced during this time. All pieces produced in Morioka and Mizusawa of Iwate prefecture is called “Nanbu tekki”
Product can be used with 100V(200V NOT RECOMMEDED)

Taking care of your nanbu teapot
Use only water and cloth to wash (No detergent)
Dry product immidiately after washing to avoid discoloration and rusting
Teapot can be dried on low heat to evaporate the water
Keep away from cooking area as oil splash could stain the product
Discoloration will occur when gas flame reaches he body of the pot
