Our story
Our story starts here, by bringing you the authentic Japanese tea culture across boarders with love to the world.

We are two mothers that met in Dubai but with one of us moving back to Japan, we decided to continue our relationship through a business sourcing and promoting sustainable products made in Japan.
Japan is one of the amazing places we know of in the world and if you get the chance to visit, you will discover a country rich in tradition and cultural heritage. Their tradition holds many sustainable practices which we are now discovering and would like to uncover.
Tea culture is something we both found intriguing along with its health benefits. Also being raised in the green tea nation of the world and immersed within its culture growing up, green tea has always been apart of us which began the exciting journey of sourcing and creating our own blend.

We formed this company and named it WACHA WACHA.
WA, in English translates to ‘authentically Japanese’ and CHA is ‘tea’, and when put together becomes another meaning.
WACHA WACHA means chattering or chitchat and is an apt description of our favorite pastime as mothers – enjoying conversation and drinking green tea whilst surrounded by the sounds and noises of our kids and the environment we are in.

We care for our planet and the wellbeing of our new generations. Here is our first sip to uncover sustainability with Japan and the world, and to mark our footprints to make a little difference through the goodness of tea we bring you.
